New Delhi. Family discord has come to light the case of murder of former Karnataka Director General of Police (DGP) Om Prakash. In this case, his wife Pallavi and daughter have been taken into custody by the police and both are being questioned. The incident occurred on Sunday at his home at HSR Layout in Bangalore. It is being told that this dreadful incident occurred due to family dispute.

In the police interrogation, wife Pallavi said that Om Prakash had threatened to kill several times. He used to bring guns to the house and scared his wife and daughter. The same happened on Sunday. Pallavi said that when Om Prakash tried to attack, he used chili powder and oil. Om Prakash started burning after chili powder. He was running around to get relief from jealousy. After this, hands and feet were tied and stabbed several times. Om Prakash died due to excessive bleeding. At present, the post -mortem of Om Prakash's body will be done today on Monday i.e. on Monday.

In the evening, wife Pallavi informed the local police. Pallavi will be the first accused in the case. Police is also investigating the role of the daughter in the murder. Both are currently in police custody.

Police is questioning mother and daughter

The murder of former DGP Om Prakash (68) has created a stir in Karnataka. Om Prakash's son has filed a complaint regarding the incident. Additional Commissioner of Police (West Division) Vikas had told last Sunday night that Om Prakash's wife and daughter have been taken into custody and they are being questioned.

Officer Om Prakash has a three -storey house in HSR layout of Bangalore's posh area. It has also been reported that this crime has been carried out in a dispute to a land in Dandeli, Karnataka. A few months ago, Pallavi moved to the HSR layout police station to file a complaint.

Former DGP Om Prakash was a resident of Bihar

Sources claimed that when the employees there did not hear their complaint, they staged a sit -in in front of the police station. It is also learned that Pallavi was suffering from schizophrenia and was also taking medicines. Former DGP Om Prakash Champaran was a native of Bihar and had a master's degree in geology. Om Prakash was made the DGP of Karnataka on March 1, 2015.

Case filed on son's complaint

Om Prakash has many wounds of a knife on the stomach and chest on the body of Prakash. According to the report, a relative had a quarrel between Om Prakash and his wife over the property he transferred to someone else. The former officer is suspected to be stabbed with a knife. Police is investigating whether his daughter had a role in the murder or not. A case has been registered based on the complaint of Om Prakash's son.

Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara said that retired Director General of Police Om Prakash has been killed. Preliminary information shows that his wife has committed the crime, but is under investigation. We have to wait. When I was the Home Minister in 2015, he worked with me, he was a good officer and a good person. This should not have happened, everything will be revealed by investigation.
