Indian banks usually allow their customers to make a limited number of ATM transactions every month. Banks charge a fee for withdrawing money from ATM after the prescribed limit. The facility of unlimited ATM transactions is also available, but some conditions have to be fulfilled for this. For example, State Bank of India (SBI ATM Transaction Charges) also charges charges on these transactions.

SBI's charges also depend on the nature of the transaction and the type of city. That is, the charges for metro cities and common cities are different. Apart from this, SBI ATM card holders may have to pay more money even if they withdraw money from another bank's ATM using SBI ATM card.

Every bank customer needs to know about ATM card charges. This not only saves the customer from unnecessary charges but also, if the charges are known, one does not have to argue with bank employees unnecessarily when money is deducted. Today we will tell you in detail about SBI ATM charges.

SBI ATM Free Transaction -
The country's largest bank, State Bank of India (SBI), offers its customers unlimited free ATM transactions at its ATMs as well as ATMs of other banks. Customers who maintain an average monthly balance of more than Rs 25,000 in an SBI savings bank account can make unlimited transactions within the bank's ATM network. To avail this facility from ATMs of other banks, the customer is required to maintain a balance of Rs 1 lakh.

Customers maintaining a monthly balance of up to Rs 1 lakh in an SBI account can make 3 free of cost transactions from ATMs of other banks in six metro cities of the country i.e. Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. At the same time, six transactions can be done for free in other cities.

If an SBI bank account holder keeps a monthly balance of Rs 25,000 in his account, then he will get five free transactions in a month at SBI ATM. Those who keep more than Rs 25,000 in their account get the facility of unlimited transactions. If an SBI account holder wants to do unlimited ATM transactions in other banks as well, then he will have to keep a monthly average balance of Rs 1 lakh.

Charge will have to be paid after the free limit is over
If a customer transacts from an ATM after the limit set by SBI, then he will have to pay a charge. If you use the ATM of a bank other than SBI, then a fee of Rs 20 per transaction and GST will have to be paid on it. At the same time, a fee of Rs 10 and GST will have to be paid for withdrawing money from SBI ATM or for any other transaction.
