LPG Price Down: From May 1, 2025, there have been many such changes that are going to have a direct impact on your pocket, whether it is the reduction in the price of LPG cylinders or the increased charge of the bank on ATM withdrawal. There has been no change in the price of a 14.1 kg cylinder of LPG i.e. cooking gas, but the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder has been changed.

1- Cheap LPG gas

For this, you will now have to pay Rs 1747.50. Last month its price was Rs 1762 and in March it was Rs 1803. That is, in the last two months, the price of a 19 kg LPG gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs 55.5 and Rs 14.50. It is worth noting that commercial cylinders are used in hotels and restaurants. Now common people can get the direct benefit of this and some prices in the menu can be reduced.

2- ATM withdrawal has become expensive

The second change has been made regarding ATM withdrawal. From May 1, now you will have to pay more charges than before for doing transactions from ATM (be it financial or non-financial) more than the fixed time limit. RBI has issued guidelines in this regard. Many banks have already informed their customers about the revised rates in this regard.

Now, instead of home bank, you will have to pay Rs 19 for withdrawal after a limit from the ATM of any other bank, earlier Rs 17 was charged by the bank. Checking your balance from another bank’s ATM, which earlier used to cost Rs 6, has now been increased to Rs 7.

HDFC has said that from May 1, 2025, if you exceed the free transaction limit, the ATM charge of Rs 21 plus tax has been increased to Rs 23 plus tax. Whereas a charge of Rs 23 will be levied for withdrawing money from PNB and Insand Bank ATMs.

3-Amul increased the price of milk

Amul milk has become expensive. This is going to have a direct impact on every family. Amul has increased its milk product by Rs 2 per liter, which has come into effect from May 1, i.e. today. Mother Dairy has also increased the prices of milk. After this, all the products made from milk will become expensive.

4-Changes in railway ticket booking

Changes have also been made in railway ticket booking from today, i.e. May 1. Waiting tickets will now be valid only in railway coaches. That is, now you cannot travel in any sleeper coach with a waiting ticket. That is, if you are found traveling in sleeper on a waiting ticket, then you will not only be fined by the TT but you can also be sent from sleeper to general coach.

5- Interest rates reduced on FD

Many banks have announced reduction in interest rates on fixed deposits. After the recent reduction of 25 basis points in repo rate by RBI, many banks have started closing FDs with high interest rates.
