WhatsApp is being used by crores of people around the world today. The company also keeps bringing new updates from time to time to improve the user experience. Last year in December 2024, the company introduced a special emoji reaction feature, which allows users to react to a text using emojis. At the same time, now the company is working on improving it further and is preparing to bring a feature that will allow users to use stickers to react to the text.
This is not only an add-on to the existing feature, but it aims to improve the user experience. Let us tell you that Instagram has already introduced the same feature, but only iOS users can enjoy it. Now, in a recent report by WABeta, this new WhatsApp feature has been seen on both Android and iOS, which means that the company can roll it out soon.
How will this new feature work?
This new feature is bringing an upgrade within the previous feature itself, which will allow users to react to the message with stickers, which will give you a new option in place of the existing reaction option. While emoji is an easy way to give a fast reaction to a message. With the upcoming update, WhatsApp users will get a chance to share feelings well by turning on sticker-based reactions on both messages and media.
Will be able to share feelings in a better way
The report states that through the update, users will be able to select any sticker from the sticker keyboard, which will also include stickers downloaded from WhatsApp's sticker store. Apart from this, stickers exported through third party apps will also support it. This new feature can be best in the condition where the sticker will help in sharing a particular feeling or tone in a better way. For example, responding to a funny voice note or meme with a special animated sticker can be more fun.
Advanced Chat Privacy Feature
Not only this, the company has also recently rolled out a new Advanced Chat Privacy feature. Due to which chats have now become even more secure. Along with its existing end-to-end encryption, the company is now providing the facility to control chat export.
