Sattu is a traditional Indian food item that is prepared by roasting and grinding gram on the account. Sattu is also called the “protein of the poor” because it is cheap as well as rich in nutrients. Sattu can be eaten in many ways – it can be drunk like syrup by mixing with water, lemon, salt and onion, or also eaten as parathas and laddus. Sattu is easy to digest and it controls hunger for a long time. That is why it is considered a good source of energy.

Sattu – 6 tablespoons

Black salt – 1 teaspoon

Cold water – 4 glasses

Lemon juice – 4 tablespoons

Simple salt – 1 pinch

Green chili – 2 finely chopped

Roasted cumin powder – 1 teaspoon

Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp finely chopped

Put sattu in a vessel and add some water to it and dissolve well so that there is no lump.

Now add the remaining cold water and mix well.

Add black salt, roasted cumin powder, simple salt and lemon juice to Sattu water.

If you like to eat spicy then you can also add finely chopped green chilies.

Now serve finely chopped coriander on top and serve cold.

Jaggery-6-8 tablespoons

Lemon juice – 2 tablespoons

Cold water – 4 glasses

Cardamom Powder – 2 Pinch

Put sattu in a vessel and prepare the solution by mixing a little water, keep in mind that there is no knot in this mixture.

Now add jaggery or sugar to Sattu's solution.

Add lemon juice and cardamom powder on top.
