
Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Congress has terminated the post of Chief Spokesperson, making a major reshuffle in its media department. The party has now released a new list of 53 spokespersons directly.
Many old faces have been excluded in this list released by Congress organization in -charge Sanjay Kamle, while many new faces have been included. On March 27 last year, State Congress President Jeetu Patwari removed KK Mishra and appointed Dr. Mukesh Nayak as the chairman of the media department and also appointed 9 main spokespersons and 22 spokespersons. This time the party has completely abolished the post of Chief Spokesperson, taking one step forward. Now all the spokespersons will be equally state spokespersons.

The leaders who have been excluded in the new list include three former MLAs. Former MLA from Kalapipal, Kunal Chaudhary, Dr. Ashok Marskole from Niwas, and Baijnath Kushwaha from Sabalgarh, apart from Agar, Vipin Wankhede from Agar have also been removed from the list. Apart from these, old spokespersons like Rajkumar Kelu Upadhyay, Reena Baurasi, Avni Bansal and Amit Sharma have also not been ranked this time. In the previous team formed in 2024, leaders like Bhupendra Gupta, Mrinal Pant, Shailendra Patel, Nisha Bangre, Roshni Yadav and Abbas Hafeez were prominently working as the main spokesperson. Now under the new system, all spokes will work in the same position. This strategy of the Congress is being considered to give a new direction to the media strategy keeping in mind the upcoming political challenges.
