Bollywood Stars Rally Behind Indian Forces After Pahalgam Terror Attack

New Delhi: Prominent actors including Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Kangana Ranaut, and Allu Arjun have expressed their admiration for the Indian military following missile strikes in Pakistan on Wednesday. This action was a direct response to the horrific terror attack in Pahalgam that resulted in the deaths of 26 civilians.


The Indian Army confirmed that nine terrorist sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir were targeted, including Bahawalpur, a known base for the Jaish-e-Mohammad group, as part of 'Operation Sindoor'.


Rajinikanth commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the successful execution of 'Operation Sindoor', stating, "The fighter's fight begins... No stopping until the mission is accomplished! The entire NATION is with you. @PMOIndia @HMOIndia #OperationSindoor JAI HIND," on X.



Akshay Kumar also shared his support, posting, "Jai Hind. Jai Mahakaal" alongside a message about 'Operation Sindoor' on his official X account.



Kangana Ranaut, who is also a Member of Parliament from Mandi, reiterated the government's commitment to a "zero tolerance" policy against terrorism. She expressed her wishes for the safety and success of the armed forces on her Instagram Stories, stating, "May god protect those who protect us. #operationsindoor."



Allu Arjun, known for his role in 'Pushpa', also voiced his support, stating, "May justice be served. Jai Hind #OperationSindoor" on X.



Pawan Kalyan, the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and actor, quoted lines from the nationalist poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar's poem, emphasizing the importance of bravery. He expressed gratitude towards the military leadership for their decisive action in 'Operation Sindoor'.



Sidharth Malhotra, known for his role in 'Shershaah', also shared his thoughts on Instagram, stating, "Zero Tolerance for Terrorism. Jai Hind Ki Sena."



Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur commented on India's response to the Pahalgam attack, stating it demonstrates the nation's confidence and responsibility. He noted that 'Operation Sindoor' was a precise action against the territories and organizations that supported the terrorists responsible for the attack.



Suniel Shetty emphasized that terrorism has no place in society, stating, "Zero tolerance. Total justice. #OperationSindoor" in an Instagram post.



Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar expressed his solidarity with the armed forces, stating, "Our prayers are with our forces. One nation, together we stand. Jai Hind, Vande Mataram."



India's military action followed the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, which sparked significant outrage both domestically and internationally. In a crucial meeting with top defense officials on April 29, Prime Minister Modi granted the armed forces full operational freedom to determine the response strategy.
