Aloo Boondi Raita Recipe in Aloo Bondi Raita Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Curd – 2 cups (fresh and thick)

  • Potatoes – 1 medium -sized (boiled and chopped)

  • Namkeen Bondi – ½ cup

  • Roasted cumin powder – ½ tsp

  • Black salt – 4 teaspoons

  • White salt – as per taste

  • Red chili powder – 4 teaspoons

  • Green Coriander – 1 tbsp (finely chopped)

  • Water – as required (to dilute the curd)

Recipe Instructions:

  1. First of all, whisk the curd well so that there is no lump in it.

  2. Now add some water to it and dilute it as per your choice.

  3. Add boiled and chopped potatoes to the curd.

  4. Then add salty bondi to it (if you want a bondi soft, soak it in lukewarm water for the first 5 minutes).

  5. Now add roasted cumin powder, black salt, white salt and red chili powder and mix well.

  6. Add finely chopped coriander over above.

  7. Ready and cool-cold potato bondi raita is ready.

Serving suggestion:

This raita looks very tasty with hot-hot parathas, puri, casserole or biryani. Serve it cold in the summer season.
