Material for making spinach vada
- Surked spinach – 2-3 cups
- Besan – 3 cups
- Rice flour – 1/4 cup
- Chopped Ginger – 2 teaspoons
- Chopped onion – 1/2 cup
- Green chili chopped – 2 teaspoons
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Cumin – 2 teaspoons
- Celery – 1 tsp
- Kasuri Methi – 2 teaspoons
- Frying oil
- Salt – as per taste
- To make spinach vada, first wash the spinach thoroughly and then break its stalk and finely chop it.
- After this, cut onion, ginger, green chillies as well.
- Now take a big bowl and add gram flour and rice flour and mix both well.
- After this, add chopped green chillies, onions, celery, fenugreek seeds and mix. Then add red chili powder, cumin and other spices.
- After mixing all the ingredients well, add finely chopped spinach and mix well.
- Due to moisture in spinach, the mixture will become wet, so there is no need to add excess water.
- When the stuffing of the spinach vad is ready, take the mixture in the hand and keep it in a separate plate.
- Prepare spinach vadas in this way with all the mixture.
- Now put oil in a pan and heat it on medium heat.
- When the oil is hot, add spinach vada in the pan and deep fry
