
New Delhi. American religious leader Robert Francis Prevost has been elected a new Pope on Thursday. He is the first cardinal to become the Pope from America. Prevost has been selected as Pope Leo XIV after two days of selection process. Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) has congratulated the new Pope. On May 8, the Vatican City (Vatican City) showed white smoke rising from Sistin Chapel and the bell of St. Peters rose. It was indicated that the cardinals of Roman Catholic Church have chosen their new Pope. Robert Francis Prevost, born in Chicago, has been selected as a new Pope. Prevost will now be known as Pope Leo Fourteenth (XIV).
