After Honda teased the CBR650R E-Clutch on its social media handle on Wednesday, it has now teased the CB650R E-Clutch as well. This heralds the imminent arrival of the E-Clutch variants of both the inline-four Honda 650s in India.
After making the public woo by releasing the teaser of CBR650R E-Clutch across social media platforms, Honda has shared another teaser on the internet, featuring CB650R E-Clutch. It has been reported that the model is expected to hit the market in the upcoming months.
Pros Of E-clutch System
If wondering how the Honda E-Clutch system works, the system will come with a servo motor bolted onto the new casing, allowing the riders to have a seamless and comfortable shifting process. The same element will pull the clutch when the motorcycle is in a stationary condition. The process will help the rider to eliminate the stress/fatigue that comes with riding on the busy road. The riders can also disengage the E-Clutch and take control manually if it feels like or is required.
Honda CB650R Standard
Talking about the standard CB650R, it is already in sale, and can be purchased at the starting price of Rs. 9.20 lakh (ex-showroom). The reports suggested that the upcoming E-Clutch system in the vehicle might cost an extra amount of Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000.
Meanwhile, the bike will remain using the same 649cc, inline-four cylinder engine, generating a maximum power of 94 bhp and 62.3Nm of peak torque. The unit will be linked with a six-speed gearbox. As far as the updates and features are concerned, it gets a new LED headlight setup, new colour options, a five-inch TFT, loaded with Bluetooth connectivity.
