In addition to Srinagar, pieces and debris of an unidentifiable projectile were found on Saturday morning in a field in Mughlani Kot Village in Amritsar, Punjab. Images taken from the location revealed pieces of the item in a field, with the surrounding region burnt.

Gursahib Singh, the village’s sarpanch, spoke about the event, saying that it occurred at approximately five in the morning but that no one was hurt by the falling debris.

“It happened at 5 am; afterwards I came to know about the blast…no one is injured,” claimed the man.

Another villager said, “There was a loud blast; we think it was from a drone that was brought down; not much damage has happened.”

“We hurried out after the explosion; pieces of this drone are strewn about. Another villager said, “What they are doing is wrong; we are giving them a befitting reply.”

As tensions between the two nations continue to rise, sources informed ANI that Indian attacks in the early hours of today targeted four airbases in Pakistan.

According to the reports, India promptly began the retaliation attacks after Pakistan targeted 26 areas around India. Several locations along the Line of Control (LoC) continue to see intermittent fire.

“Drones have been sighted at 26 locations along the International Border and LoC with Pakistan,” the Ministry of Defence stated in a statement. Among them are allegedly weaponised drones. The places include Lalgarh Jatta, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Bhuj, Kuarbet, Lakhi Nala, Baramulla, Srinagar, Avantipora, Nagrota, Jammu, Ferozpur, Pathankot, Fazilka, and Lakhi Nala. Unfortunately, a local family was injured when an armed drone struck a residential location in Ferozpur.

Security personnel have cleaned the scene and given medical attention to the wounded. The Indian Armed Forces are using counter-drone technologies to monitor and combat any airborne threats as part of their heightened level of readiness. The Indian Armed Forces are taking swift action wherever necessary and continuously monitoring the situation. Residents should stay at home, refrain from unnecessary movement, and strictly follow the safety directives issued by local authorities, especially in border regions. Although panic is unnecessary, increased care and alertness are crucial.
