Attempts are being made to target India by first attacking through terrorists, then a drone plot and now a dangerous virus a cyber weapon. According to reports, Pakistan is now plotting to make a big cyber attack on India, in which a dangerous virus named 'Dance of the Hillary' is being used.
Social media becomes a means to attack
This virus is being transported to people through social media, WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram and email as a file. Experts have warned that if a person clicks on this file, then his personal information, especially banking details, can be hacked which can cause huge financial loss.
What is Dance of the Hillary?
It is a highly dangerous malware that is being sent as a video file or document. According to security experts, the virus enters the device via suspicious files called Tasksche.exe. Once activated in the device, it can steal important information in your system.
Save yourself from cyber attack:
- Always use updated antivirus software.
- Keep the operating system updated in the latest version.
- Avoid clicking on any unknown link or attachment.
- Use strong and unique passwords.
- Download the apps only from trusted sources.
