In the world of Bollywood, reports regarding casting, especially of big banner movies, spread like wildfire. Recently, Kartik Aaryan ’s ‘ Naagzilla ’ also joined the bandwagon. According to a media report, in the creature comedy, Karan Johar shortlisted two names - Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol for the role of the antagonist, and the final say in the matter lies in the hands of the hero, Kartik Aryan. However, according to an industry insider, the real story is something else completely!

The quote further stated, “It’s amusing how names of top-tier senior actors suddenly start circulating. Let’s be realistic, are we really suggesting that casting decisions for icons like Mr. Anil Kapoor are being finalized by Kartik? That’s a bit of a stretch."

As aforementioned, according to a Bollywood Hungama report, it was said that, "The script of Naagzilla warrants the presence of a senior actor in a negative role. Karan Johar has short-listed two names for the role - Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol - and now, Kartik will take the final casting call for Naagzilla.”

“The entire cast of Naagzilla is being decided collaboratively, and Karan will now indulge in a discussion with Kartik and Mahaveer Jain to lock the antagonist," stated the report.

Kartik Aaryan to share screen with Ravi Kishan
Meanwhile, News18 reported that Kartik will be sharing screen space with Ravi Kishan in this comedy adventure.

“This will mark their first-ever onscreen collaboration. Be assured that a lot of hilarious banter will ensue between the characters played by Kartik and Ravi. The makers were on the lookout for actors who’ve already proved their comic chops and instincts. And who better than Ravi Kishan,” mentioned the report.
