
Condolences from the Chief Minister
Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, has conveyed his sorrow regarding the death of Subedar Major Pawan Kumar from the 25 Punjab Regiment. He lost his life due to shelling by the Pakistan army in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday morning. Subedar Major Kumar hailed from the Shahpur nagar panchayat in Kangra district.
In his message of condolence, CM Sukhu emphasized that Subedar Major Pawan Kumar's ultimate sacrifice was made in defense of the nation's sovereignty, ensuring that his memory will endure among the people.
The Chief Minister also assured that the state government stands firmly with the grieving family during this difficult time and will provide all necessary support. He offered prayers for the departed soul's peace and for the family to find the strength to cope with this profound loss.
