In the fourth quarter (January-March) of FY 2024-25, the company has registered a profit of Rs 126 crore, compared to a loss of Rs 397.56 crore in the same quarter last year. The company gave this information to the stock exchange.

However, during this period the total income of the company declined to Rs 2,066 crore, which was Rs 2,193.85 crore in the same period last year.

Profit from cost cuts

Despite this, the company made a profit, as it made a big cut in its expenses. The total expenditure declined from Rs 2,615.15 crore to Rs 1,998.49 crore.

Reliance Power has paid a total loan of Rs 5,338 crore in the last 12 months, including maturity repayments.
