Foreign Secretary Addresses Media on Rising Tensions

Earlier today, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Colonel Sofia Qureshi, and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh briefed the media regarding the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. During a press conference, he presented evidence of Pakistan's inflammatory activities and debunked the false narratives being propagated by them. He stated, "Pakistan's actions were provocative and escalated tensions. In response, India acted with responsibility and restraint." India firmly rejected Pakistan's malicious misinformation campaign, which falsely claimed destruction of significant Indian military assets and infrastructure.

She stressed that India categorically dismisses these false narratives, which are part of a broader strategy aimed at undermining India's military capabilities and instilling fear among the public.
