New delhi: According to ESPNcricinfo, if the 18th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) resumes in May, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad have been selected as places for the remaining 16 matches. The tournament was suspended for a week in view of the increasing tension between India and Pakistan.

According to ESPNcricinfo, IPL has chosen three places in South Indian cities, so that the Indian government can be stopped if it allows the tournament to resume.
