But have you ever thought that if our phone suddenly stops working or if the battery is over, then how will our response be? Will you be able to remain normal? Or this thought makes you restless. This is the new crisis of this digital age called ‘Nomophobia’.
What is nomophobia
The full name of Nomophobia is “No Mobile Phone Phone Phobia” .. That is, the fear of getting away from mobile phones. This is a mental state in which the person feels nervous and anxiety in the absence of mobile phones. The name was first revealed during a research in Britain in 2008, when it was discovered that people could not even imagine their lives without mobile phones. Over time, it has become a global problem today.
Digital age and nomophobia
In today’s digital age, the use of mobile phones is no longer limited to interaction. It has now become a multi-tasking device in which we do social media, banking, online shopping, health tracking and even our work. When people are deprived of these services, they feel stress and nervousness. According to a study, about 70% of people cannot spend a day without their smartphone.
What are its symptoms

This mental state not only affects personality, but can also adversely affect physical health. Constant screen time and much use of mobile phones can cause eye problems, headache and sleep problems.
