The budget of the film was 11 crores. But the film could earn only 15.57 crores. While the film did not get special reviews. At the same time it also could not be included in the list of hit films. In 2008 Himesh Reshammiya brought the remake of Karz which was also named Karz. But one more Z was added to the English name. But this did not prevent the film from being a flop.
