Now the Bombay High Court has ruled on the matter.

PVR’s relief to PVR in mistake forgiven
According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, the Bombay High Court has decided that the film will not be released on OTT until the matter is resolved. This decision of the High Court has given some relief to PVR.
What did the High Court say?
The Bombay High Court said, “The film cannot be released on any platform, especially OTT until the 8 -week holdback period is completed. This stay will continue until the case is fully heard until the case is fully heard.”
PVR has sued Rajkummar Rao’s film makers of 60 crores. Makers say that the decision not to release the film a day before its release has caused a lot of damage. Makers Madock, the makers of the mistake, said that the film will not be released in theaters keeping in mind the security drills that are happening across the country. However, PVR has claimed that the makers have decided not to release the film in theaters, given the situation of poor advanced booking.
