After this increase, the initial X-showroom price of Class Class has now increased to Rs 60.3 lakh. At the same time, the cost of the company’s most premium Sedan Mercedes-Mebac S-class has increased by a maximum of Rs 12.20 lakh. Its new initial X-showroom price will now be Rs 3.60 crore. In addition, the prices of other popular models of Mercedes like Gle, GLS, EBB and E-Class will also increase in phases. This will have a direct impact on the buyer’s pocket in the luxury car market.

What is the reason for the price raising?

Mercedes-Benz India’s Managing Director and CEO Santosh Ayer said that the biggest reason behind the decision was the falling value of the Indian rupee and the increasing import costs. Many parts and technologies of the Mercedes car in India are imported from abroad. Due to the weakening of the rupee against the dollar, the prices of these products have increased significantly.
