The UK is basking in a spell of todayb as temperatures soar to 25C in England. Now, UK homeowners are being urged to place a bowl of water inside their house. According to the latest BBC forecast, areas around London and Manchester are experiencing 25C while other areas such as Liverpool and Birmingham are experiencing similar heat.
As extreme conditions strike the areas, Brits have been advised to stay alert to the heat conditions. Homeowners can fill a bowl of water and place it inside the house. The trick will help you to bring down the high temperatures without using expensive ways like air conditioning.

Placing a bowl of water on your windowsill or bedside table can help cool your room through a process known as evaporative cooling.
In simple terms, as the water evaporates, it releases moisture into the air, lowering the surrounding temperature. This works similarly to evaporative air conditioning units, which cool the air by increasing humidity.
For enhanced cooling, add ice cubes to a bowl of water and direct a fan toward it.
As the ice melts, the fan will circulate the chilled air throughout the room, helping to lower the temperature.
Energy advisor Katey from the suggests placing some bowls of water around the house.
She said: "It might sound a bit odd, but bowls of water help cool hot air. You can also hang a wet sheet. Basically, hanging a wet sheet in front of the window will help to bring the room temperature down."
She also added that she's a big fan of running a bedsheet under the tap and wringing it out and using it as a duvet in really hot weather.
She said: "Nothing I've found works better for getting a good night's sleep in the heat."
