In view of the situation, schools, mosques and community buildings have been opened as a shelter site for the affected people. Especially around Srinagar airport and border areas, there is an atmosphere of tension and instability, where people are migrating due to firing.

People migrating from Srinagar

There is an atmosphere of fear in the surrounding areas after failed attempts to drone attacks at Srinagar Airport. Local residents have started turning to safe places. Ghulam Mohammad Dar of Bandipora said that his area is only two kilometers from the airport and the situation there is also tense.

At the same time, Muzaffar Ahmed Rather said that on Friday night the area resonated with the sounds of shell and drone, due to which the common people have come into panic. Due to this, security system has been increased in many areas of Srinagar. Officials said that despite the situation being normal in many parts of Srinagar city, there is fear among people due to unsuccessful efforts of drone attacks at the airport.

Because of this, the local administration has opened the doors of schools and mosques in view of security so that the affected people can get shelter. A school called Chrisnd Buds in Ompora has been converted into a shelter home, in which about 1500 people can be given shelter through 15 rooms and large basements.

Missile fell in Dal Lake in Srinagar

Officials said a missile -like item has fallen inside the Dal Lake of Srinagar, whose smoke is coming out of the surface. The sound of the blasts was also heard on Saturday morning, causing a stir in the area. Officials say this item is being tested, and the situation is being monitored.

People in panic due to firing from across the border

At the same time, there is a situation of tension in the border areas of Baramulla and Kupwara. Due to the firing from across the border, the people there had to leave their homes and migrate to safe places. The atmosphere in these areas is still tense, and the security forces are monitoring the situation with vigilance.
