The actor, 47, scooped up the BAFTA for Best Male Performance in a Comedy for his role in the Sky Comedy series Mr Bigstuff, and his excitement was palpable. Upon receiving the award, Danny quipped: "The acting was so bad it was funny."

Danny then shouted out to his daughters, "Girls - Sunni, Dani, I done it," before defiantly breaking protocol with a bold declaration: "I f***ing done it."

His choice words forced presenter Alan Cumming to state that he was "asked to apologise" for Danny's language. However, the made a quick cut as the expletives were not included in the final edit. Instead, all viewers heard was "Sunni, Dunno, I done it girls."
