
2025 Honda CBR 650R, CB 650R: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched E-clutch variants of its popular middle middle model: CBR650R and CB650R. The price of both special bikes has been kept at Rs 10.40 lakh and Rs 9.60 lakh respectively, ex-showroom. This means that these models now come at a price of Rs 40,000 higher than the standard model. The company has used its special e-clutch technology. This allows unique technology rider to change gear, stop the bike and then ride without pressing the clutch. This feature will prove to be very helpful in road conditions with heavy traffic.

Main characteristics
Both CBR650R and CB650R have 648cc, inline 4-cylinder engine that gives 93.87 hp at 12,000 rpm and 63 Nm of torque at 9,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, which is now supplemented by the E-clutch.
The motorcycles also have 41 mm Shova SFF-BP USD forks at the front and adjustable mono-shock at the back. The stopping power comes from the front dual 310 mm disc and a 240 mm rotor at the back, equipped with dual-channel ABS.
Color option
Both CB and CBR are available in two color options Black and Red. Currently, CB 650R and CBR 650R E Clutch variants are one of the very few bikes available in India that are available with ‘assisted’ clutch systems.
Both models have a 5.0 -inch color TFT display, with smartphone connectivity through the Honda Roadsink app, which can access calls, messages and navigation through rider Bluetooth. In addition, CBR650R is available in Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.

Delivery
Booking of both models has now started on all bigving dealerships and official Honda website. According to the company, delivery will begin by the last week of May 2025.
