Indo-Pak DGMOs Rajiv Ghai & Kashif Abdullah Talks Concludes; Both Sides 'Agreed' Upon These Key Points

Talks between India and Pakistan Director Generals of Military Operations  (DGMO) have reportedly concluded. DGMO Rajiv Ghai and Kashif Abdullah spoke on the hotline first time after Pakistan called India for ceasefire.Reportedly, both sides have agreed on some key points. 1) Civilians should not be targeted. 2) There would be no firing from either side, Zero tolerance policy on infiltration will continue. 3) There should be no intrusion of drones.The first contact between the DGMOs of India and Pakistan was made on May 10 at 3:35 pm. This was initiated by Pakistan, in which Pakistan's Major General Kashif Abdullah called India's DGMO, Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai.After this, it was agreed between the two countries that military operations would be stopped till noon on May 12, 2025. However, there was ceasefire violation from Pakistan which was retaliated by the the armed forces and the drones sent by them were intercepted by India's air defence system.Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation at around 8 PM today, according to reports. This will be the first occasion when the PM will addresses the nation after Operation Sindoor, amid demands from opposition parties for a special Parliament session to discuss the Pahalgam terror attack, Operation Sindoor, and the ceasefire.
