Changi was named the world’s second best family-friendly airport after Istanbul following a passenger satisfaction survey done by British air transport rating organization Skytrax.
The category, as part of the World Airport Awards, reflects the quality and quantity of family friendly initiatives at an airport based on factors such as family security facilities, immigration clearance to the standard of play areas and baby and childcare rooms.
Spanning more than one million square meters across four terminals, equivalent to 156 football fields, Changi Airport is celebrated for its state-of-the-art amenities, including duty-free shopping, luxury accommodation and automated check-ins.
The airport offers various amenities designed to make it a pleasant experience for families traveling with children.
It features indoor, air-conditioned playgrounds and entertainment areas for kids.
