Chryseis posted a series of photos from the meal, including a picture of herself with Lau, another featuring Lau with her parents, and additional images showcasing the dishes served during the dinner.
“TB [Throwback] to our dinner at Hide KL last month!” she captioned the post.
Chef Shaun Ng of Hide KL, where the dinner took place, shared a photo with Lau on his Xiaohongshu account last month.
“What an honor. Don’t blink. It’s not AI,” Ng captioned the photo. “Thank you for the arrival of superstar Andy Lau. That night, he really came. It was indeed an unforgettable evening.”
According to local media reports at the tine, Lau was at the restaurant for a private dinner with close friends and family.

Tan’s family appears to be fond of hosting celebrity guests. Last year, Chinese actress Fan Bingbing also dined with them in Kuala Lumpur, with footage of the gathering shared on Chryseis’ social media.
Tan, 73, is the founder and chairman of Berjaya Corporation, a diversified conglomerate listed on the Malaysian stock exchange. His business interests span internet- industries, water utilities, media, retail, and telecommunications. As of April, Forbes estimates his net worth at US$770 million, making him the 31st richest person in Malaysia.
Lau, 63, is widely recognized as one of Cantopop’s “Four Heavenly Kings”—a title given to the four male singers who dominated pop music, television, cinema, and advertising across the region during the 1990s. Lau’s fellow “Kings” include Aaron Kwok, Jacky Cheung, and Leon Lai.
