London: Following a little fire that broke out at UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s residence in north London early on Monday morning, UK Police have been conducting an investigation. According to Politico, the London Fire Brigade was sent at 1:11 am (local time) and promptly put out the fire.

A cordon is still in place on the street, police are on the scene, and the front door was smashed, but no one was harmed in the event. One of the street’s residents reported hearing a loud, one-time explosion that sounded like a “firebomb” and maybe broken glass.
The fire is being investigated as suspicious, and counterterror police were engaged. Even though he lives in Downing Street as prime minister of the United Kingdom, Starmer continues to live in north London.
“Firefighters were called to a small fire outside a property” in Kentish Town on Monday morning, according to a London Fire Brigade spokeswoman. According to the spokeswoman, “Two fire engines from Kentish Town Fire Station attended the scene.”
According to Politico, the London Fire Brigade notified Metropolitan Police that there was a fire at a private location.
“On Monday, 12 May, at 1.35 a.m., police were alerted by the London Fire Brigade to reports of a fire at a residential address,” a statement from the Metropolitan officers stated.
Keir Starmer thanked the emergency services for their efforts, but Downing Street said he was unable to speak more because of the ongoing investigation.
