The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the results of the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations on Tuesday, with over 3 lakh students across both grades scoring above 90% marks.
The results highlight academic excellence and consistent performance, particularly in the Delhi region, which posted some of the highest pass rates in the country.
Girls continued their strong performance, outshining boys by over 2 percentage points. The examination was conducted smoothly across 26,675 schools and 7,837 centres nationwide, reaffirming the CBSE's efficient handling of one of India’s largest school-level assessments.

CBSE Class 10 Results 2025: Nearly 2 lakh students score above 90%
In the CBSE Class 10 exams, a remarkable 1,99,000 students scored above 90%, while more than 45,000 candidates achieved above 95% marks. Out of 23,71,939 students who appeared for the exams, 22,21,636 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 93.66%, a slight improvement of 0.06 percentage points over last year.Girls continued their strong performance, outshining boys by over 2 percentage points. CBSE Class 12 Results 2025: Over 1.15 lakh students cross 90% mark
For Class 12, over 1.15 lakh students scored above 90%, and more than 24,000 students secured 95% or higher.
