Meghan Markle discusses 'getting her hands dirty' as she lifts lid on life as a boss

has spoken about getting her "hands dirty" in the new episode of her Confessions of A Female Founder this week. The Duchess of Sussex, 43, sat down with Heather Hasson, the founder of FIGS - a company that has completely revolutionised the medical apparel industry. Her business, FIGS, which has reshaped how healthcare professionals think and feel about their workwear, is a billion-dollar brand.

In the episode, the Duchess of Sussex speaks to Heather about the challenges and benefits of growing a business. She also spoke about the need to get your "hands dirty" to be a goood founder. Meghan said: "It can get messy and the best founders are not afraid to get their hands dirty."

Meghan also said how her time as a theatre major helped her understand what it is like being part of a team as "you couldn't just do acting".

The duchess then said she is "comfortable" with a sewing machine as a result of this.

The episode is the fifth in Meghan Markle's podcast series, which was one of her big projects she launched this year.

Other guests to feature on her podcast so far include Hannah Mendoza, founder of Clevr Blends, and Kadi Lee, co-founder of Highbrow Hippie.

Just weeks ago, Meghan also interviewed her close friend Jamie Kern Lima, who is co-founder of IT Cosmetics.
