CBSE Supplementary Exam 2025: Failed One Or Two Subjects? Here’s What to Do

CBSE Result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results for Class 10 and Class 12 for the academic year 2025. This year, the overall pass percentage stood at 93.66% for Class 10 and 88.39% for Class 12. However, a significant number of students have fallen in the compartment category 1,41,353 in Class 10 and 1,29,095 in Class 12.These students will have to reappear for examinations in the subjects in which they failed. The CBSE compartment exams will be conducted within two months of the declaration of the results. The official dates, application process, and exam fee will be announced by the board shortly on cbse.gov.in. What If You Failed in One or Two Subjects?- You can reappear for the compartment exams in the subject in which you failed.- No repetition of the year if you clear these.- Compartment exams offer an opportunity to clear without wasting academic time.What If You Failed in More Than Two Subjects?- You may have to repeat the academic year.- CBSE does not permit supplementary exams for more than two subjects.CBSE Result 2025: How to Apply for Answer Sheet Revaluation- If you think your answer sheet wasn't properly assessed, CBSE enables you to go for revaluation. Here's how:- Apply for a photocopy of your assessed answer sheet from CBSE's official website.- Go through the sheet properly to see if there were errors in marking.- In case errors are traced, make an application for revaluation along with a fee of Rs 200 per subject.- A second examiner will re-mark the paper, and marks will be revised if errors are shown.
