
Govinda is one of the veteran actors of Bollywood. He has won the hearts of the audience with his acting in many films. Govinda has given many hit films in his career. There was a time when there used to be long queues outside the cinema halls for tickets to watch his films. Today we are going to tell you about one such film of Govinda which is not only liked even today but this film also made bumper earnings at the box office. The name of this film of Govinda is Swarg. This film was released in theatres in the year 1990. Many big actors like Govinda Rajesh Khanna Juhi Chawla Satish Kaushik Madhavi Paresh Rawal and Neena Gupta were in the lead roles in this film. Swarg was a family drama which was directed by David Dhawan. According to media reports two crore rupees were spent on making this film and this film of Govinda earned Rs 14 crore at the box office. The surprising thing is that Swarg was completed in just 6 months and was ready for release in December 1989. Due to the release of 6 other films starring Govinda in early 1990 it was postponed till May 1990. Talking about the story of the film Swarg Kumar (Rajesh Khanna) lives in a palatial house with his wife Janaki (Madhavi) two brothers and youngest sister Jyoti (Juhi Chawla). Krishna (Govind) is the servant of the house who considers Kumar no less than God and calls him Sahebji. Dhanraj (Paresh Rawal) Kumars business rival destroys his factory Kumars brothers separate from him and Jyotis marriage breaks up as Kumar is left with nothing. Krishna is his only support who decides to stay with him till the end. But he is framed for robbery and thrown out of the house. Apart from this Janaki dies and Kumar starts living in a hut with Jyoti. Krishna goes to Bombay and becomes a big star. On returning he comes to know what happened to Kumar and decides to destroy Dhanraj and Kumars brothers.
