Cauliflower tastes much better and turns out "crispier" if you don't boil it and use one alternative method instead. Cauliflower is a common vegetable in the UK and is often boiled along with vegetables like and . However, you should stop boiling it and do one thing instead to make it taste even better. That is according to many home cooks who opt for using the air fryer to cook their cauliflower instead of boiling it.

This method is simple and straightforward and doesn't use as much oil as if you were to roast it in the oven. All you need is a head of cauliflower, a small bit of oil and whatever you want to use to spice up this often bland vegetable. For one home cook, Diana of , cauliflower tastes delicious and comes out "crispy" when she uses her air fryer to cook it. She uses a few spices to make it tastier and says that it makes a "wonderful" side dish.

Firstly, she washes her head of cauliflower and pats it dry before removing the flourets. Then, she places them in a bowl and adds her seasonings. She chooses , smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper along with a drizzle of olive oil.

She then tosses them until they are well coated. With her air fryer pre-heated top 200C, she cooks them for 15 minutes, making sure to flip them every three minutes.

She is not the only home cook who uses her air fryer to make delicious cauliflower. Couple Jeanine and Jack, who operate the recipe site , say that their cauliflower comes out "so delicious" when they use the air fryer.

Their recipe uses a beaten egg and breadcrumbs to make the outside of the cauliflower florets cripsy when they are cooked in the air fryer. Meanwhile, the spices they use are garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne and salt

They cook the flourets in the air fryer for between nine and 12 minutes at 370F, which is around 187C.

Meanwhile, says that cauliflower cooked in the air fryer has an "outstanding flavour". They season it with smoked paprika, turmeric, cumin, oregano, onion and garlic powder, ground mustard, salt and pepper.
