Kolkata: Srinjay Majumdar, the stepson of former state BJP president Dilip Ghosh, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his apartment in east Kolkata. His body has been cremated after an autopsy was performed at RG Kar Medical College & Hospital.
Dilip Ghosh had married Rinku Majumdar, a BJP Mahila Morcha leader, on April 18, 2025. Srinjay is Rinku Majumdar's son from her previous marriage. He used to work in a multinational IT company in Salt Lake.
"I don't know what happened. Rinku was cooking in the morning when we heard this news. I am in deep pain," said Dilip Ghosh. Rinku Majumdar said,
"Three years back he felt unconscious. He used to take some medicines. I felt he was a little upset after my marriage," she said.
