Gourd – 1/2
Tomatoes – 1
Onion – 1
Ginger-Garlic Paste-1 T Spoon
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Cumin – 1 tsp
Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Green Coriander – 1 Table Spoon
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Oil – 2 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Recipe
First of all, peel the gourd and then grate it. Keep the bull gourd separated in a vessel.
Now put a little oil in a pan and keep it on medium flame to heat it. When the oil is hot, add cumin and ginger-garlic paste to it and mix it with karchhi.
– Cumin will start to crackle only after a few seconds. After this, add finely chopped onion and fry it. After some time the color of onion will become golden brown.
After this, add finely chopped tomatoes and cook well. After this, add red chili, turmeric, grated gourd and salt as per taste and mix it well.
Now let the admission cook on medium flame for 8-10 minutes. During this time, keep driving the admission in between and keep checking whether he cooked or not.
– When the Bharta is cooked well, turn off the gases and take it out in a big bowl. Before serving it, add lemon juice and garnish with green coriander leaves.
