Queen Camilla was spotted wearing a coat that was once gifted to King Charles 27 years earlier. The 77-year-old, who has been married to the King since 2005, was pictured for a concert marking the 80th anniversary of VE Day last Thursday.

The royal couple, who were also , were treated to performances from artists such as The Darkness and Freya Riding. Prince William and Princess Kate's three children - Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and seven-year-old Prince Louis - did not join their family.

With the King donning a pinstripe suit, the once again wore her husband's daglah.

The traditional Saudi Arabian collarless coat was previously given to the monarch during a state visit in 1998.

Complete with exquisite silver embroidery, the black garment was given to Charles, who was still the Prince of Wales at the time, by local designer Yahya Al-Bishri.

In the decades since the King was given the stunning piece, Queen Camilla has had the daglah tailored to fit her.

She first debuted the coat herself during an engagement at RAF Cranwell in 2008.

Camilla then sported it at Royal Tattoo at Windsor Castle two years later - and, most recently, wore it during an appearance during the late Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee.

Previously speaking to Arab News, said: "As a Saudi fashion designer, I am so proud and happy that international media focused on my design, talked about the outfit and appreciated what the Duchess of Cornwall was wearing.

He also added that Camilla, who was then Duchess of Cornwall, "looked really beautiful in it".
