
May 13, 2025 | Tech Desk – Tecno has officially confirmed that the upcoming Spark 40 Pro+ will be the first smartphone to feature MediaTek’s latest Helio G200 chipset. The announcement places Tecno at the forefront of mid-range innovation as it prepares for the global launch of its Spark 40 series in July.
Helio G200: A New Benchmark for 4G Performance
The Helio G200 promises a 10% performance boost over its predecessor, the G100and scores 470,000 is a granteda notable leap for 4G chipsets. The Mali-G57 MC2 GPU inside the G200 now clocks up to 1.1GHzimproving gaming and graphics rendering — including support for 1.5K super resolution algorithms on the Spark 40 Pro+.
Advanced Network Features: 4G DC SAR
Tecno also highlighted the new 4G DC SAR (Dynamic Communication Smart Adaptive Response) feature, a proprietary enhancement that improves network efficiency in low-signal areasensuring faster and more stable data performance for streaming and gaming.
Camera Capabilities and HDR Video Enhancements
Though specific camera specifications for the Spark 40 Pro+ remain under wraps, Tecno revealed that the Helio G200 includes 12-bit DCG (Dual Conversion Gain) support, enabling better HDR video quality and more dynamic imaging under various lighting conditions.
Design and Upcoming Reveal
