Cannes [France]On Tuesday evening, Quentin Tarantino, the film icon, was present at the opening ceremony of the 78th Cannes Film Festival.

With his contagious exuberance, he took the stage and kicked off the gala.

Alongside his wife Daniella, Quentin Tarantino also posed on the red carpet. As they posed together, he put his arms around his wife in a tender manner.

He has come to the event as a guest of honor this time, according to People. He will take part in talks on George Sherman, a Western director from the 20th century, whose films Red Canyon and Comanche Territory are showing in the Cannes Classics section of the festival. Tarantino was the head of the Cannes jury in 2004 and had previously won the Palme d’Or, the most coveted film prize at Cannes, for Pulp Fiction in 1995.

The pair was also seen holding hands as they arrived at a hotel earlier on Tuesday, just before the festival’s opening night. Tarantino gave photographers a peace sign with his right hand.

Before being engaged in 2017, the pair had an intermittent relationship. Leo, their 5-year-old boy, was born in February 2020, and their 2-year-old daughter was born in July 2022.

Cannes 2025 will begin on May 13 and run until May 24.
