A Maharashtra video has gone viral and ignited a heated debate on linguistic freedom. A guy challenges a girl in the video for speaking Hindi rather than Marathi, which sparks a heated confrontation between the two.
Because the girl resides in Maharashtra, the male in the video insists that she speak Marathi. As he asks her why she isn’t speaking the native language, he even begins to videotape her. But the girl maintains her composure and firmness. She responds that regardless of where she lives, she has the right to speak the language in which she feels most at ease. People in their immediate vicinity intervene to break up the altercation as it becomes increasingly intense.
Since then, the video has gained a lot of attention online, with many people applauding the child for boldly defending her right to speak the language she wants.

The ‘Ghar Ke Kalesh’ profile on X (formerly Twitter) published the video, which is now getting popular on the internet. The caption for the photo said, “Kalesh b/w a Marathi guy and lady over not speaking Marathi in Maharashtra.” Two hundred thousand individuals saw the video that was uploaded yesterday.
Social media users wasted no time in responding to the popular video. “Language is important, but you can’t harass like this,” one person said. They should both be courteous. ” After the truce, we are back to where we were. “Speak in Marathi,” a second user said. These linguistic warriors should be sent to the order and instructed to demonstrate their might there. A third user said, “Even our heroes who are fighting and defending us will feel sad that they are fighting for these kinds of people.”
“For us Indians to be united, India most likely needs to be at war all the time! “Shame!” a fourth user added. Say ‘Okay, I’ll learn soon,’ and leave if you encounter any language fighters. A fifth user commented, “There’s no reason to waste your energy.” “People who are unemployed tend to bother strangers on the street and cling to phony things like language and other forms of pride. Another user said, “You don’t see working professionals wasting their time on this.”
