This year, the overall pass percentage of Punjab Class 12 board examination is 91 per cent. Girls performed better, with a pass percentage of 94.32%, compared to boys' 88.08%.2. In Punjab Board Exams, the rural and urban areas performed well. In urban areas, 1,05,537 students out of 1,16,303 appeared passed, giving a pass percentage of 90.74%. Rural areas had 1,49,085 students appear for the exam, with 1,35,969 passing, giving a marginally higher pass percentage of 91.20%.3. When grouped by type of school, non-government schools had the highest pass rate at 92.47%, while government schools had a pass rate of 91.01%. Aided schools had a comparatively lower pass rate of 86.86%.4. With a 96.29% pass rate this year, Amritsar was the district with the best performance. Pathankot had a 94.21% pass rate, and Gurdaspur came in second with 95.84%. The pass rates in other districts, such as Kapurthala, Tarn Taran, Mohali, and Malerkotla, were also higher than 93%.
