Rekha also had a sister named Radha. She too could have made a mark in the industry but fate had something else in store for her. Rekha rarely spoke about her family. Her father Gemini Ganesan has 6 sisters and a brother from several marriages. Gemini had four daughters from his first wife two daughters (including Rekha) from his second wife Pushpavalli and a son from his third wife Savitri. Rekha has only one real sister whose name is Radha. Like Rekha Radha was also one of the well-known faces in the industry. Rekha made a name for herself in the film industry but Radha did not like all this. She did not like fame and stardom and decided to leave the film world. Radha left the film world in 1981 and married her childhood friend Usman Saeed. Soon after she moved to the US and settled there. Let us tell you that Usman was the son of the famous South Cinema director SM Abbas. Radha and Usman have two sons who are now married.
