Bollywood actress Genelia Deshmukh spoke openly about her experience of working with Aamir Khan in the much awaited film “Stars Zameen Par”.

Describing this cooperation as “incredibly special”, Genelia expressed her happiness over being a part of the project, which re -connects them with powerhouse artists like meaningful cinema and Aamir. Talking about the film, Genelia said, “It seems very special to work with Aamir Khan productions after so many years. This role is different from any of the characters I have done!

Genelia Deshmukh is playing a brief but impressive role as Aamir Khan’s girlfriend in the upcoming film. This project is a fresh moment for Genelia, who had earlier won the hearts of people as Aditi in the film “Jaane Tu … Ya Jaane Na” (2008), a film supported by Aamir Khan Productions. Recently, the producers released the trailer of the film, and Aamir was shown as a strict, disappointed basketball coach. Sharing the trailer on social media, the producers wrote, “1 Tingu Basketball Coach, 10 Stormy Stars and their journey. See #Tarezaminapar #Sab’s Aapnanormal, only on 20 June. The trailer has released now!” The trailer introduced us to a very different side of Khan – which is very different from the sympathetic teacher Ram Shankar Nikumbh we knew. This time, he is playing the role of a tired, angry basketball coach, which is different from the world and himself. With the task of training a team of intellectually disabled youth, their journey promises not only for their players, but also for them.

Apart from Aamir and Genelia, the film has 10 budding actors: Arush Dutta, Gopi Krishna Verma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra and Simran Mangeshkar. It is set to release in theaters on 20 June.
