The 78th Cannes Film Festival is set to roll out its iconic red carpet from May 13 to May 24, with Indian celebrities ready to showcase their talents and style on this prestigious global stage. L'Oréal ambassadors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Alia Bhatt, alongside filmmakers Karan Johar and Payal Kapadia, are among those representing India at Cannes 2025. Taha Shah Badussha, who gained international recognition with Heeramandi, is set to captivate audiences once more with his new film Paro, which addresses the serious issue of bridal slavery and will be screened on May 16. "Cannes is a magical place for cinema lovers," he remarked. "It’s not just about the glamour; it’s a platform for impactful storytelling, and Paro is a testament to that." Taha is equally passionate about fashion, stating, "While many designers contribute to my looks, I draw inspiration from classic aesthetics."

For Shalini Passi, a philanthropist and fashion enthusiast, Cannes represents a new adventure. "This is my first experience here, and I’m cherishing every moment—whether it’s charity events, film screenings, or fashion gatherings," she shared. At just 17, Nitanshi Goel is transitioning from the dusty streets of Laapataa Ladies to the glamorous Cannes red carpet, fulfilling her dreams. "I’m just a small-town girl with big aspirations. Walking the Cannes red carpet feels like a dream come true," she expressed.
Fashion Entrepreneur: Parul Gulati
Parul Gulati, who has built her brand Nish Hair from the ground up, arrives at Cannes as both a founder and a trailblazer. "I’m here to celebrate a bold and unapologetic India," she stated.
