Shatrughan Sinha and Reena Roys alleged affair grabbed a lot of media glare in 90s. The two first crossed paths on a movie set eventually fell in love and dated for seven years. However to everyones surprise Shatrughan Sinha ended up marrying Poonam Chandramani despite being in a serious relationship with Reena. According to reports Reena and Shatrughan continued being together after his marriage. However when Poonam got to know about their alleged affair Shatrughan decided to end things for the sake of his marriage. This shattered Reena immensely. After few years there were reports she married Pakistani cricketer Mohsin Khan in 1983. The couple got divorced in 1992 and currently she is a single mother residing with her daughter in Mumbai. Reena Roy had a huge crush on Rajesh Khanna Many wont know before Reena became the highest-paid heroines of the 1970s and 80s she was one of those typical female fans who would stay outside Rajesh Khannas house to catch a glimpse of the superstar. In a conversation with PTI Roy shared I would wait outside Rajesh jis house after school to catch a glimpse of him. I would dance to the songs of Rajesh Khannas films and would cry and get upset when injustice was meted out to him. My mother felt so bad that she stopped taking me to movies. Not just Rajesh Khanna Reena also expressed admiration for superstar Jeetendra. Expressing how she went blank during her first meetup with the actor on the sets of Jaise Ko Kaisa she shared I was shocked when Jeetendra ji came in front of me I was like is this real? I was blank. He made me feel comfortable as we started shooting and we ended up having great rapport. Our first film together was Jaise Ko Taisa and that was a superhit movie. Nagin and almost every film of mine with him was superhit. Interestingly Reena later collaborated with both Rajesh Khanna and Jeetendra forming one of the most popular on-screen pairings in Hindi cinema. She worked opposite Khanna in films such as Dhanwan Asha Jyoti and Dharam Khanta among others. With Jeetendra Reena delivered 12 superhits one of them being the most iconic Nagin.
