made a rare health admission yesterday at a Buckingham Palace garden party as he spoke about what can help during cancer treatment. The monarch, 76, was and has been undergoing treatment ever since. While the King has not shared too much information about his diagnosis, he did speak to a fellow cancer patient about treatment.
At the garden party, attended by 7,000 guests, the King spoke to Stamford Collis, 22, an international relations student at Exeter University who is battling cancer. Collis revealed afterwards that the pair had spoken about cancer treatment and diet.
Collis said: "He (the King) was asking me about the treatment I have starting in June and spoke to me about food and diet.
"He also asked me if I had undergone radiation treatment, which I had earlier this year."
The King was heard to say to Collis: "It's sometimes about the diet and what you eat. It can help."
It is believed that the monarch has added to his already healthy diet as a result of his cancer treatment and diagnosis. While the King used to avoid lunch, he now reportedly enjoys some avocado to help keep his energy levels up.

The garden party on Wednesday was held at the request of the government to thank people working in the education and skills sector.
As well as being attended by students and teachers, Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson was also present.
In a garden party first, guests were treated to a performance by students from the Royal Ballet School, while guests also listened to music - including the Harry Potter theme tune - played by the British Army Band Catterick and the Band of The Royal Air Force Regiment.
