Till now, on WhatsApp, you can reshare only those statuses in which you have been mentioned, but after the new update, anyone will be able to reshare your status.

However, keeping privacy in mind, the company has also added an option in which you can control the permission to reshare. However, you do not get to see such a feature on Instagram yet.

The company has also shared a screenshot of this new update, in which you can see how this feature will work. This new option will make it possible for users to share status updates posted by any of their contacts.

When a status update is eligible for re-sharing, a dedicated button will be seen inside the status viewer interface. By tapping this button, users will be able to forward the status update to their viewers, eliminating the need for manual screenshots or copying of content.

The message summary is also coming.
