A huge part of Nottingham's tram network has been locked down after a crash brought some services to a halt.
Nottinghamshire Police were on the scene earlier at Lace Market Tram Stop following the incident, which occurred just after 10am this morning. Services were suspended between the Old Market Square and Nottingham Station in both directions but have now resumed with delays. There were four fire engines, six police cars and at two ambulances at the scene on Weekday Cross. Pictures show a stationary tram in the middle of the large corden with a green tent also covering the scene.
Police confirmed a 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital following the incident, with injuries not thought to be life threatening.
