Soon-to-be mother Kiara Advani thanked everyone for their love, generosity, and celebration, which made her unique moment at her Met Gala debut even more memorable. “I’m still taking it all in,” Kiara said on Instagram after posting a wonderful video of herself showing off her baby belly for the first time in a magnificent Gaurav Gupta design. Thank you for all of the celebration, love, and compassion. I appreciate your tremendous turnout for my Met Gala debut, which added even more charm to my special occasion. Your love, cheers, and messages are invaluable.
Wearing a black gown with a sweeping white train and a metallic breastplate, Kiara looked stunning. A heart-shaped plaque for the unborn child was added by the designer as a unique touch for the expectant mother. It was gently attached to the breastplate by a golden thread, which symbolized the umbilical cord.
The stunning woman accessorized the ensemble with an ear cuff, big earrings, and gold rings. In terms of hair, Kiara secured those curly locks in place. Her brown-toned lips, smoky eyes, and a matching blush completed her look.
Designer Gaurav Gupta said, “Kiara Advani (@kiaraaliaadvani) in custom Gaurav Gupta Couture titled ‘Bravehearts’ at her debut Met Gala,” sharing his experience of dressing the “Kabir Singh” actress for her first Met Gala. A celebration of disobedience, tradition, and fresh beginnings. The foundation of Bravehearts is the spirit of the Black Dandy, individuals who, with dignity, fortitude, and individualism, defied convention and changed society.
The style has a greater significance for Kiara Advani while she is pregnant, symbolizing the way identity is passed down and reinterpreted between generations. The focal point is a gold-sculpted breastplate with two hearts—one for the mother and one for the child—joined by an ethereal umbilical chord. She is wearing a striking white cloak that is reminiscent of André Leon Talley’s 2010 Met Gala ensemble; it is both armor and an offering,” he said.
